Antique Georgian Irish Sterling Silver Mustard - Dublin 1826 - Chinese Decoration

Description

This is a superb antique Georgian Irish hallmarked solid sterling silver mustard pot complete with liner measuring 3 1/2" (9 cms) high x 4 1/2" (12 cms) across including the handle x 3 1/2" (9 cms) deep.

It's hallmarked for Dublin 1826 with the silversmiths mark for William Nolan and the retailers mark for William Law - the spoon is hallmarked for London 1822 so is probably not original to the pot.

The spoon and pot without the liner weigh 290.6 grams and everything is in excellent condition.

It has unusual Chinese style decoration of pagodas and flowers and the three legs are in the style of Chinese men.

Very unusual and would make a great addition to any collection.
