Description

A superb and very rare solid silver Vesta case in the form of a football. The Vesta is hinged to one side and opens and closes perfectly. Clear hallmarks are visible on the Vesta base and on the lid (see photos) along with the maker's marks: Birmingham 1905 by H Williamson Ltd. The registration number is stamped on the case and sits just under the lid: RD467827.

Condition: This Vesta is in great used condition. There are a few age related very small dents to the silver commensurate with the age and are mentioned for accuracy only.

Hallmarks: Birmingham 1905 by H Williamson Ltd.

Measurements: 4.41cm x 5.39 cm approx (including loop).
