George II Style Mahogany Ball and Claw Stool

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920, George II style mahogany ball and claw stool. This rectangular stool has a needlepoint top, and deep apron which is rounded at the top. From this there are 4 substantial cabriole legs. At the top of the legs there are quarter blocks which form part of the leg, rounded and shapely. As the leg continues down to a fine base it finishes with a realistic ball and claw foot.
