Antique Silver Double Pocket Watch Chain with Fob

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique silver double pocket watch chain with fob.

Each chain measures 21cm long including the clasp and the short piece of chain leading to the T-bar. The chain, T-bar and one of the clasps are hallmarked for Birmingham 1918; the other clasp is a replacement but of the correct period and design. All the links have the lion passant silver mark.

The chain comes with a Victorian silver fob with a rose gold wash to the initialled shield. The fob was awarded to Henry Garland as per the engraving on the back, and it is hallmarked for 1896.

Total weight 74g.
