An Extremely Rare Victorian Silver Table Vesta.

A rare and unusual variation on the usual silver vesta. This late Victorian hallmarked table vesta is a wire-work stand, with a holder for the matches and supports for cigarettes. Below is a tray for spent matches, with a striker to one end. The tray is supported on four wire-work feet. A most interesting and unusual addition to a vesta collection, still usable today.
