Antique William IV Sterling Silver Mustard Pot 1831

Description

This is a superb antique William IV hallmarked solid sterling silver mustard pot complete with liner measuring 2 1/2" (6,5 cms) high x 3 1/2" (9 cms) across including the handle x 2 1/2" (6.5 cms) deep.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1831 with the silversmiths mark K.G.& Co and comes with a spoon hallmarked for Birmingham 1930 which was obviously added at a later date.

The spoon and pot without the liner weigh 72 grams and everything is in excellent condition.

It is gothic in style with arches and oak leaves all round and a beautiful decorated handle with an oak leaf design.

It has a very unusual liner which is a dark grey marble or some kind of granite which we believe is original to the pot.
