Victorian 'Ribbed' Silver Vesta Birmingham 1897

Description

Very fine, Victorian solid silver Vesta case. This case has a most attractive unusual 'ribbed' design. It is hinged and closes with a nice firm click. There is a good sized loop at the top. Clear hallmarks are visible on the inside lip under the lid: Birmingham 1897. There are also hallmarks on one side of the case.

 

Condition: This vesta is in very good used condition.

Length: 5.24cm approx.

Width: 3.95cm approx.

Depth: 1.47cm approx.

Weight: 20.02 grams approx.
