A Very Nice Late 18th Century Spiral Candlestick

A very nice late 18th century spiral candlestick on its original base which has a fabulous patina. Note the carrying hook to prevent wax falling on your hand and the side projection a traveller which moves the candle up and down and allows the end bits of the candle to be retrieved.

It measures approx 18cm h x 8.5cm w.
