Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

A good, heavy solid sterling silver jewellery box from the Edwardian era.

It is hallmarked on the side, with partial hallmark on the lid, for Birmingham 1912. Plain in style, with no inscriptions and with its original blue velvet lining, it is in very good condition. There are light surface abrasions, merely from use, and one very small ding, just above the opening. The hinge is good and the legs are well secured and even.
