A Magnificent George II Silver Stuffing/basting Spoon.

A magnificent silver stuffing or basting spoon from the first half of the 18th Century. This wonderful and early example is of excellent gauge silver and is in Old English pattern. It has no crests or armorials and is bottom marked (hallmarks at bottom of shank near to bowl). Spoons for this era are always in great demand due to their scarcity and a large stuffing spoon, rarer still.
