Edwardian Silver and Mother of Pearl Dagger Bookmark

1900 - 1920
Description

A very fine, solid silver bookmark in the shape of a dagger with a mother of pearl handle and ivy leaf decoration to the silver crossguard. Clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1903 with the maker's mark for Crisford & Norris Ltd.

 

CONDITION (see photos):

In good condition commensurate with age. The mother of pearl handle has no chips or blemishes. The hallmarks are clear. There are some minor marks/scratches to the blade.

 

MEASUREMENTS:

Length: 10.3 cms approx.

Width: 2.1 cms approx.

Height: 0.925 cms approx.

Weight: 8.27 grams approx.
