Antique Early Victorian Sterling Silver Teapot 1839

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver teapot weighing 845 grams and measuring 11" (28 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 6 1/2" (17 cms) tall to the top of the handle and in excellent condition - any marks you can see are just reflections from the photographs.

It's clearly hallmarked for London 1839 with the silversmiths mark for William Hewitt.

This lovely teapot is nice and clean inside making it perfectly usable and it holds 2 pints.

It has beautiful decoration with a pretty flower finial and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

Excellent condition, no repairs or damage and ready to use.
