Antique Victorian Sterling Silver & Glass Inkwell 1885

Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian glass and sterling silver inkwell measuring 3 1/4" (8 cms) across the base x 4" (10 cms) high.

The silver is hallmarked for London 1885 with the silversmiths mark for Frederick Brasted.

The silver overlay is lovely with panel all round and an engraved pattern on the lid.

There are no inscriptions or monograms and it has a star cut base.
