A very large and heavy solid silver salver in the Georgian manner. Fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1920 and makers mark Mappin and Webb. The salver weighs nearly 2kg and is of a very high quality, the whole is in great condition with, as one would expect, the odd scratch but nothing distracting. The piece also has not been engraved ass is often the case with this type of salver.
