Mid C19th Dutch Silver Apostle Spoon

Description

This is a Dutch hallmarked solid silver apostle spoon. It was assayed in Amsterdam in 1855. It should be .934 standard.

It has a figural group surmount, an ornate handle and gilt bowl. It also has the letters 'G' and 'G' engraved on the reverse of the bowl.

It is in good general condition but the hallmarks and figure are a little rubbed.

It weighs 57g.
