C1900 American Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon For The State Capitol Springfield Illanois, By Towle Silversmiths

This is a c1900 American hallmarked sterling silver souvenir teaspoon. It was made by Towle Silversmiths.
It has a gilded bowl engraved with an image of the State Capitol, Springfield, Illanois. It is also engraved ''Bertria'' to the handle, and ''July 31, 1900'' to the back of the handle. It also has hallmarks and is marked ''sterling''.
The general condition is good but there is a slight bit of damage on the bowl of the spoon where the bottom right corner of the Capitol building is. There are some surface marks and wear to the gilding.
It weighs 14g.
All items come with free shipping throughout the UK. They will be sent using a recorded or signed for service such as Royal Mail's Special Delivery.
