This is a Victorian hallmarked sterling silver and glass decanter. The silver was assayed in London in 1893. It was made by William Comyns & Sons.
The decanter is of hourglass form with wrythen glass. The silver has Neo-Rococo swirling repoussage decoration.
Unfortunately the decanter has a crack in the neck which goes down through the shoulder. I have included photographs. Also one corner of the silver has a piece missing. Otherwise it is in good order.
It weighs 878g.
All items come with free shipping throughout the UK. They will be sent using a recorded or signed for service such as Royal Mail's Special Delivery.
