Description

SUPERB early Victorian solid Sterling silver desk set of large size by JOHN BARNARD of LONDON 1859. This really is a beautiful example, great shape tray with very nice original engraving and scroll shape feet. Pair of hexagonal cut glass ink bottles with engraved silver lids which are all hallmarked the same. Centre hexagonal box with lift off lid, the lid with candle holder and snuffer attached.

The desk stand is in very good condition with no damage or repairs that I can see. Good clear hallmarks to all parts.

Just a wonderful piece of Victorian silver.
