Victorian Gold & Seed Pearl Brooch

Description

This is a very pretty amethyst and seed pearl brooch which dates from the late 19th century. The openwork bar brooch has a safety chain attached and measures 4.5 cm across. It has a good sized cut amethyst to the centre and five seed pearls to either side, all set within a 9 carat mount with a total weight of 3.4 grams. The brooch is in excellent order and has an antique case from 'Riddell' of Glasgow.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
