Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 2 Handle Bowl 1853

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver 2 handle bowl measuring 7 1/2" (19 cms) across from handle to handle x 5 1/2" (14 cms) deep x 5" (12.5 cms) tall to the rim.

The condition is superb, it still retains the original gilding inside and any dark marks you can see are just reflections.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1853 with the silversmiths mark for Samuel Roberts & Joseph Slater.

It weighs 460 grams which gives you an idea of the quality, there are no inscriptions or monograms and it has super floral decoration.
