Scenic Silver Match Box Cover Birmingham 1904

1900 - 1920
Description

A most handsome, Edwardian, solid silver, match box cover. The top of the cover is embossed with an idyllic pastoral scene including a stag deer. The cover is unusual as it sits on four ball feet. Clear hallmarks are visible on the underneath of the cover: Birmingham 1904 along with the marker’s mark: Boots Pure Drug Company.

 

Condition (see photos):

This match box cover is in excellent used condition. The pastoral scene is clear with no dents or scratching.

Length: 6.18cm approx.

Width: 4.01cm approx.

Height: 2.62cm approx.

Weight: 19.96grams approx.
