Clearly hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1912, with the maker's mark of S W Smith & Co. The solid sterling silver bell cover features alternate Art Nouveau-styled panels. The bell stands securely on four splayed feet. The bell works by twisting the finial and it works perfectly.

The silver is in excellent condition, with no tears or dents. The inner bell workings are not silver.
