Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Card Tray - 1776 - Armorial Crest

Description

This is a super antique Georgian sterling silver card tray measuring 6 1/4" (16 cms) x 1" (2.5 cms) and in super condition with no damage at all.

It's hallmarked for London 1776 with the silversmiths mark for Robert Makepeace & Richard Carter and it weighs 246 grams.

It has an armorial crest in the centre with the motto 'In Solido Rursus Locavit Deus' which translates to 'On Solid Ground Again, Let God' .
