Large Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Shell Dish 1897

Description

This is a gorgeous Victorian hallmarked sterling silver shell shape dish sitting on three ball feet measuring 9" (23 cms) x 11" (28 cms) x 2" (5 cms) high to the rim.

It weighs 328 grams and is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1897 with the silversmiths mark for the Atkin Brothers.

It's in absolutely superb condition with no damage at all and has beautiful pierced decoration with no inscriptions or monograms .

There is a crest on the top of the dish which has a coronet/crown style top to it.
