A Superb George V Silver Trinket Box.

A most attractive silver trinket box of stylish design. This fine piece is of rectangular form, on four foliar decorated feet. The hinged lid has a vacant cartouche and lovely engine turned and foliar decoration. The inside of the lid is lined and the base interior has the original padded plush velvet . A wonderful gift idea, both practical and decorative.

Condition :- Excellent, with no holes or splits. There are a small dimple to the reverse and one leg is slightly straighter, commensurate with age and use. The box stands firmly with no wobble.

Hallmarks :- Softening but readable. Loss to the Maker's mark.
