Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 'Horn' Vinaigrette with Whistle 1870

Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver vinaigrette in the style of a horn with a high pitched whistle on the end.

It's stamped inside the lid S. Mordan & Co, London with the diamond registration mark for June 1870. It measures 2" (5 cms) across and is in excellent condition with no damage at all.

It has a hinged lid which opens to reveal the silver gilt grille and it has an attached suspension chain - it weighs 12.5 grams.
