Solid Silver Un-engraved Trophy 1927

Description

A lovely example of a solid sterling silver trophy.

Clearly hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1927, with the maker's mark of Wilmot Manufacturing Co.

The trophy is un-engraved and very plain in it's chalice form (and very difficult to photograph!). There are a couple of small dings around the top and surface abrasions inside, but other than that, the silver is in excellent condition. The central pedestal base stands flat on the surface. It is not gilded - any suggestion of gilding in the pictures is just a reflection of the camera flash.
