Silver Vesta Case, Birmingham 1915 W H Haseler

1900 - 1920
Description

A very fine, solid silver, Vesta case. Beautifully crafted with concave curve to the back. Engraved with intertwined leaves and scrolls and an empty cartouch on the front of the case. The Vesta is hinged on the left and when opened exposes clear hallmarks on the interior lip: Birmingham 1915 with maker’s marks: W H Haseler. It has a loop attached to the side of the case with a further loop for attaching to a chain.

 

Condition: Great overall condition throughout.

 

Height: 4.4cm approx.

Width: 3.69cm (including loop) approx.

Depth: 1.07cm approx.

Weight: 19.2 g approx.
