Antique Sterling Silver 8" Photo Frame 1901 - Birds

Description

This is a super antique hallmarked sterling silver photo frame measuring 8" (20 cms) tall x 5 1/2" (14 cms) with the opening measuring 5" (13 cms) x 3 1/4" (8 cms) and hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 with the silversmiths mark for C.Griffiths & Co.

The silver frame is gorgeous with pierced decoration and a bird in each corner.

It has a cartouche with at the top with no inscriptions or monograms.

It's in excellent condition with a velvet backstand which has some minor fading and is ready to use.
