Description

Birmingham 1928 English hallmarked solid silver tea caddy with unusual and stylish fluted body and chased and applied leaf trim. A domed lid with rolled edge makes an air tight closure. The whole stands on a footed base.

Made by William Neale and Son of Birmingham.

Also marked Truscott.Bideford to underside of base.

Weighty at 150 grams, and sized 3.75 inches high by 3.5 inches wide.

In very good condition.

An unusual and useful piece to be used for its original purpose, or as a desk or dressing table tidy.
