The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The hallmarks are clear for Birmingham 1904, with the maker's mark of William Hutton & Sons Ltd.
The toast rack is raised on four ball feet, which stand evenly on the surface. The seven bars are styled as wish bones and are firmly attached to the base.
The silver is in good condition.
