This is an absolutely super little antique Victorian sterling silver novelty pepper pot in the form of a knight's helmet.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1895 with the silversmiths mark for Mappin & Webb.

It measures 1 3/4" (4.5 cms) tall x 1 3/4" (4.5 cms) across the base.

It weighs 35.8 grams and is in excellent condition with lovely detail.
