Description

As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality heavy gauge lobed silver bowl , the applied enamel decoration covers virtually the entire circumference of the bowl and beautifully depicts water lilies amidst a chased lakeside setting, the lobed foot is further decorated in cloisons of brightly coloured enamels , the underside is stamped with the retailers mark of a Turtle in a diamond , a great bowl for everyday careful use or ideal for display purposes.

The condition is very good !! , these double skinned silver items are usually found in a poor state of repair with many dimples and dents , we located this bowl in an Apartment in New York where it had been carefully preserved for the next generation .
