Silver Stamp Case, Birmingham 1909,Crisford & Norris.

Description

A beautiful, Edwardian, solid silver stamp case, very rare due to the exquisite design of a small purse. The case is embossed with the words 'Stamps' across the front along with two flower sprigs (see photos). The lid is hinged to reveal the interior of the case and has a loop on the top for attaching. . Clear hallmarks are visible on the inside of the lid and also on the inside of the body of the case: Birmingham 1909, with Marker's Marks: Crisford & Norris. An exceptional stamp case.

Condition: This stamp case is in very good condition with no dents whatsoever to the silver.

Weight: 5.19g approx

Measurements: Height 2.61cm x Width 2.83cm x 0.46cm approx
