Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Coffee Pot 1848

Description

This is a super antique Victorian hallmarked solid sterling silver coffee pot measuring 10 1/2" (27 cms) to the top of the finial x 9" (23 cms) across from handle to spout with a 2 1/2 pint capacity.

The condition is excellent with lovely engraved decoration, no inscriptions or monograms and any marks you can see in the photos are just reflections.

It's hallmarked for London 1848 with the silversmiths mark for Charles Reily & George Storer and it weighs 793 grams which gives you an idea of the quality.

The inside is nice and clean and this lovely elegant pot is perfectly usable today.

All in very good condition and a very good weight with a super flower finial on the lid.
