A very impressive French spelter six branch figural candelabra, depicting Aurora holding aloft a six branch foliate light fitting, set on a circular black marble base. The sculpture has a rich bronze patination, is signed Fugere, (Henri Fugere 1872-1944), and has the Parisian foundry mark of Fabrication Francaise. The lamp is supported on a separate, circular ebonised wooden plinth, which means that it is possible to stand it on the floor. Alternatively the lamp can of course stand alone on a table. The lamp is in overall very good condition, but there is some damage to one of the shade holders as can be seen in one of the images.
