Antique Sterling Silver Trophy with Lid - 1925 - Clay Target Shooting

Description

This is a super antique hallmarked sterling silver trophy/cup with lid measuring 9" (23 cms) tall x 5 1/2" (14 cms) across including the handles.

It's hallmarked for London 1925 with the silversmiths mark for Daniel George Collins.

It weighs 369 grams and is in excellent condition with no damage at all - any marks you can see are just reflections.

It's engraved on the front 'The First Sporting Amateur Clay Target Shooting Championship of Great Britain, 2nd Prize won by F.C.Horne, May 1925' and the other sides are blank with no inscriptions.
