Unusual Antique Solid Sterling Silver Large Cup 1910

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an unusual antique solid sterling silver cup measuring 4 1/4” (11 cms) across the bowl and 6 1/4” (16 cms) across from the end of the handle, and 2 3/4” (7 cms) high with beautiful decorative patterns and hallmarked for Chester 1910.

It has the maker’s mark for the famous silversmiths George Nathan and Ridley Hayes who specialised in replicas of ancient cups and vases and this has a very arts and crafts feel to it.

It has an extended handle which has a hole in the end and is a super quality item weighing a huge 260 grams.

Lovely decoration and in excellent condition with no signs of any restoration.
