The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Georgian era.

This bright cut teapot was made by Robert Cattle & James Barber. There are a couple of small dings and there is slight movement in the handle, though nothing more than would be expected of a teapot over 200 years old. Any shading on the photographs is merely a reflection.
