Regency Pair of Mahogany Hall Seats or Benches

Description

A good late Regency pair of mahogany hall seats or hall benches, the well figured rectangular tops with a moulded edge and raised, shaped, bolster supports to either side, with carved anthemions to the front; on a simple shallow frieze raised on neo-classical square tapering fluted legs terminating in spade feet. Good rich colour and patination.

Could be used as window seats or stools.
