Antique Sterling Silver Circular Box with King George III Head - 1916

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a super circular sterling silver box measuring 2 1/4" (6 cms) across x 1" (2.5 cms) high with hinged lid.

It weighs 53 grams and has a raised head decoration on the front of King George lll and would have been imported into the UK from Hanau, Germany.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 with the silversmiths mark for Berthold Mueller who was known for his quality imported items.

It's in excellent condition and still retains the original gilding in the interior.

Free worldwide fully insured shipping included in the price.
