Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Butter Shell & Knife in Presentation Case - Goldsmiths 1902

Description

This is a lovely antique hallmarked sterling silver shell style butter dish with knife in the original presentation case.

The dish itself measures 4 3/4" (12 cms) long x 4" (10 cms) across and the knife is 5 1/2" (14 cms) long.

The two items weigh 89 grams and the dish is hallmarked for Sheffield 1902, the knife for London 1902 and both with the silversmiths mark for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company - the inside of the case also shows the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths mark.

The whole lot is in excellent condition and there are no engravings or monograms.
