Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Christening Mug - 1883 Nursery Rhyme

Description

This is lovely antique Victorian hallmarked sterling engraved silver mug measuring 3" (7.5 cms) high and 2 1/4" (6 cms) across the top and in super condition.

It has lovely decoration of two boys playing 'ride a cock horse' under the sign 'Banbury'.

It's hallmarked for London 1883 with the silversmiths mark for Charles Edward.

It weighs 114.5 grams and there are no inscriptions or monograms so it would make a perfect Christening present.
