Pair of Antique Victorian Solid Silver Dishes 1896

Description

This is a lovely pair of solid sterling silver dishes.

Clearly hallmarked within the foliage for Sheffield 1896, with the maker's mark of Atkin Brothers.

The flower-shaped dishes have scalloped edges and an embossed decoration around the inside and they stand securely on circular pedestal feet.

The silver is in excellent condition. One dish has been used more than the other and has some light abrasion marks inside the bowl. They are not gilded - any suggestion of gilding in the pictures is just a reflection of the camera flash.

A lovely pair of dishes, for any number of uses around the home.
