Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Pierced Box 1899

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian English hallmarked sterling silver pierced top box measuring 2 1/2” (6.5 cms) across and 1 1/4” (3 cms) high.

The pierced decoration on the lid shows a muskateer style man.

It weighs 89.2 grams and is hallmarked for London 1899 with the silversmiths mark for William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman who were the silversmiths for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company of London.

This is a lovely box and is in excellent condition.
