Antique Solid Silver Basket 1917

Description

A lovely, intricate solid sterling silver swing-handled basket.

Clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1917, with the maker's mark of Martin Hall & Co Ltd.

Featuring a pierced decoration with a reeded rim and handle, the basket sits proudly above an oval pedestal base and is in an excellent, used condition. The basket is not gilded - any suggestion of gilding in the pictures is just a reflection of the camera flash.

Width: 12.5cm

Height (to top of handle): 12.5cm.
