Antique Early Victorian Sterling Silver Teapot 1843

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver teapot weighing 734.4 grams and measuring 11 1/2" (29 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 6 3/4" (17 cms) tall to the top of the lid and the whole thing is in excellent condition - any marks you can see are just reflections from the photographs.

It has the silversmiths mark for Joseph & Albert Savory and is hallmarked for London 1843.

This lovely teapot is nice and clean inside making it perfectly usable and it holds just over 2 pints.

It has a lovely decorative flower knob on the lid, is beautifully shaped and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

Excellent condition and ready to use.
