Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Trinket Box - 1892 - Artist & Sculpting Scenes

Description

This is a superb antique sterling silver trinket box measuring 3 1/2” (9 cms) across x 2 3/4” (7 cms) deep x 1 1/2” (4 cms) high and having on the top a scene of a cherubs reading, sculpting and painting and the sides are decorated all round with cherubs as well.

It is in very good condition and opens easily on its hinge and inside retains the oringal gilding.

It's hallmarked for London 1892 with the silversmiths mark for Thomas Glaser who was known for his top quality imported items.

It weighs 118 grams and is absolutely super.
