Antique Georgian Solid Silver Skewer 1807

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

This solid sterling silver skewer was made by Thomas Howell and is clearly hallmarked for London 1807.

It is described as a game, rather than a meat, skewer because of its length, being 15cm and 20g in weight.

It is in the classic design, having the hoop at the top of the handle for hanging. There is a family crest on the front of the handle. The silver is in excellent condition.
