Description

A very fine, solid silver Vesta Case. This case is a good shape and size (see photos). Beautifully engraved to the front with swirls and leaves and an empty cartouch in the centre. The back is also fully engraved. Clear hallmarks are visible: Birmingham 1914, along with the marker's marks: John Rose, under the lip of the lid. The case is in good condition (there is a small dent to the top of the lid which can be seen on the photographs). The lid is hinged on the left hand side and closes perfectly well. There is a loop on the left of the case for attaching. The inside is gilt washed.
